Just found an  Allis614 forklift. It is in good shape, the motor is stuck, G160. I don't think I am going to rebuild it. I did find a 3.152 Perkins diesel Will it bolt up to trans or do I have to make an adapter plate ?

Thanks

I would see if you can get the engine unstuck and see how it runs. Some engines unstick easy, some are tough. Depends on where they were sitting. Outside or inside, and whether it had spark plugs screwed in it or not. Ya never know. Sometimes they break loose with different formulas poured down the spark plug holes to get things loose again...

Perkins will not bolt up.  You will need an adaptor plate to start with, and probably more fab work along the way.  Get the G160 freed up and you can rebuild it.

If you find a G138 or G149 they would bolt right in and everything would fit in place, just be a little les power.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
