oooops....i mean the loving wife...turned 65 today! she's gonna retire from the cop shop sometime next month! anyways...i ain't been no where for several months cuz of my feet and legs. i didn't have a card to give her today. i can't feel my feet, but i can walk if i watch where i'm putting them, they do hold my fat a$$ up yet! sooooooooo.....i grabbed the burb keys, it barely started from sitting so long in the cold, but it did. i drove around back in the fields to see if i could drive. i watched the way the burb responded to me when i put my foot on the gas and the brake. yep....i think this is gonna work! i drove into town and to wally world, slowly but surely! got on one of them electric carts (they run by hands) and went and got her a card, i left the same way i got there, it worked! the cane that LEONR made for me helps me walk better...thanks Leon! i gots home o-k, signed the card in the house cuz all my pens in the burb was froze! she came home bouts a hour later and found the card and then....yep....the a$$ chewing started about me going to town! but she forgaves me when i handed her a hunert dollar bill for a present! whew! ya'll see....money can buy happiness!

Hey Shameless, I just realized your old lady, oops.... I mean loving wife, shares a birthday with Cora and my brother. She turned 8 and he turned 42.

Got the wife a one hour massage certificate for her birthday over a year ago, she never used it. So this year we got the grandson, went to dinner, and went to a local auto museum. Sucks because her birthday is 3 days after Christmas, so you have to try for 2 gifts. Although 4 years ago I bought a used zero turn right before Christmas and told her it was her gift. She said it was a good gift because she hasn't mowed lawn since I got it.

We had our 35th on New Years Eve. Gifts for birthdays and holidays have gone by the wayside the last several years. Just get what you want throughout the year. I got a coffee cup for Christmas and she got a big kiss, but.....that came with a new couch and 2 recliners which should be here in a week. All her idea and want. Leather at that.
She is a budget Nazi anyway so my job was to research and come up with something that's acceptable within the 3rd Reich standards. I'm happy to comply but it gets rough sometimes.

Well it started when you were born and the doctor beat your butt to get you to breathe the first time. Another is that it wards off evil spirits and the harder you spank the further they run away.😬
