hello Could we loose five or six inches if we let some air out of tires. Want to get it into garage to do some work on it. Figured I’d ask and see if anyone has done it before messing with valve stems lol. Thanks

If it doesnt have a cab just take the muffler off to clear, in my experience if the tires don't have calcium in them the air can be left out to get in garage then air them back up once in the garage to keep from pinching the innertube drive as short a distance as possible with low air pressure.

You could get a mohel to take 6" off the pipe. Won't help if it has a cab, though!

yes sorry. Cab is what we’re trying to clear, and rear tires are loaded. I figured we’d put valve stem at top measure tire let air out tell see fluid see what we got.

If they are full of fluid, you will have fluid coming out before you drop 6 inches. Unless they aren't full. You could get an adapter, valve stem to a garden hose and let some fluid out.

you can let them down real low even with fliud you do it with the stems on top had to do that in the old shop with 10 foot doors

Could make a stand on wheels to support rear end or drawbar support. Then remove the tires and push into shop. Alot of work but doable.

If your barn only has a Dirt or Gravel floor you could dig it out to get under/past your door.

I'd think you could sneak by with a couple of inches, but 6 is probably a bit much.

lol thanks guys. We let some out tell we felt comfortable and we were like inch or two still to high. So we’re working outside. Funny my grandfather was a dealer here. Before they thought of cabs ha.
