Bumped the rear hydraulic coupler with my foot and now it will not stop leaking! Took rubber plug out and sprayed brake cleaner in and had to use hammer to tap collar b ack and forth (since it was never used) and poked balls inside with screwdriver and all seem loose but now everytime I use the lift it leaks out the back and on the step platform. Any ideas?!?! do they make aplug instead of the rubber dust plug or do I need to remove the line and plug it somewhere up the line?

You can just replace the coupler or add a shutoff valve in to cork it off when your not using it. If you NEVER intend to use it remove the coupler and buy a cap and cap it off. Edited by Roddo - 23 Nov 2010 at 7:55am |

Remove the coupler and look inside to see if there is some FM in the valve. Also, if you have the OEM double coupler you may want to take a look at the orings in the coupler to see if they are intact. If you intend to use the coupler at some time in the future and find a problem with the old coupler you could change it out to a new Pioneer coupler.
