I just buy a quality solenoid at the local Auto Zone or NAPA ... Same solenoid used on older FORD cars and trucks... Not specific to tractors or Allis.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I bought one at Tractor Supply about a month ago. O'Reillys wanted $90, TSC was in the $20-30 range.
Looking at the past to see the future.

Yes, Agco does have them, too many!!!  I ordered one from Agco, they sent one not correct one, sent another not correct, third one was the right one!!!  Apparently they have used 3 different ones on 170 but have no way of tracking that by SN#.  SO yes you can get one from AGCO but not necessarily the right one!!!!

Steve,I didn't say they made them. There was a time at least when what they peddled had to be of a certain quantity. That was my point and incorrectly assumed they would supply the correct application before that last post.
