Has anybody here used Iron Planet to purchase?
I set up an account, I have the item # but can’t find it in any of the categories.
I can’t even find an area to enter the item # to bring that page forward.
There online system doesn’t seem very user friendly.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Lars, i have never used them, but i went to the site.. I flipped a few pages till i found and air compressor... Copied its ITEM NUMBER... Went back to the MAIN PAGE and put that number in the "looking for" box at the top......... and it went to the air compressor.
If you have the right number, it should work... If not, type in the item you want " F150", "air compressor", etc.

for some reason when you load the page its says "SORRY.........."... just forget that and type in the box at the top.

Thanks Steve, that link takes to a page I have seen, but can’t get to that first one you had. I have the item number from the sticker they put on. I enter that number, but is say nothing available. Earlier this week, at work, Ritchie Bros. was there for some items owner wants to sell. I want to view them and follow. It’s possible they have not been put in their system yet.

type in the NAME of the item "2010 F150", etc .... You might have to look thru a dozen of them, but if it is available, it should show up.
Maybe they have not had time to get the item on line yet ?

Quite an interesting history on these guys. A Canadian company that started in B.C. In the late 50’s. The 3 brothers were furniture guys and started with a furniture auction. Gradually got to selling some equipment and then got out of furniture. Now they are in locations in North America, Europe, and Asia! We take stuff from the dealership I work at to their Bolton location for almost every sale.
