   Last summer I had the coupler for the  hydraulic pto inside my 200 disengage.  It did it again this summer, both times baling hay, but different balers.  I took the plate off like Dr. Allis said and slid the coupler forward.  I'm pretty sure I heard it click in place.  Is there something else to look for or do when I go in there again?

	There were two types of sliding coupler systems. I assume yours does NOT have the short lever directly behind the battery box ?? If this is true, there must be a problem with the snap-ring that is inside the coupler keeping it locked where it belongs. It shouldn't slide out of engagement by itself. Twisted splines on the rear shaft or a weak snap-ring ?? I've only had a couple of tractors ever do this in the last 4 decades and each one I made sure it could never happen again, by reaching in thru the side and strategically placing a couple spots of weld on the front shaft so the coupler cannot slide forward. Crude? yes. Fixed ? YES.

	I was thinking of doing something like that, but was not sure if there was something else first. It is very irritating, and I don't want to do it again. Thanks again.

	Make sure the back shaft does not have play in and out
