The hydraulic pump on my D-19 seems to, for the lack of better word, rattle whenever the clutch is out. Rollers bad? Can followers? This is really the only major problems that I need to fix before I paint.

All D-19's make some noise when the foot clutch is released. Your issue is figuring out if the noise is normal or louder than normal. How is the pumps performance ?? A bad roller on a cam follower eventually ruins the clutch shaft. It wouldn't take a lot of work to drop the pump out of the belly and inspect all four rollers and their pins to know for sure.

I’ll try and take a video sometime soon and post it. It’s seems to me it wouldn’t be normal.

Here is a video of it at idle. I’m pretty sure it needs taken off and rebuilt.

Think the shaft or just rollers and follower bushings?
