Someone should have been there with a video camera last night, I picked up a new feild to work went up ther last night to plow, WHOLEY COW 5-18" 7000 Black belly in gear 2 -1 all the weights on the front, NOTE this a 15 yr, old hay feild, I put the plow in the ground give her a couple hundered R's and shifted to 2 - 2 and it went in the AIR, I tried to lift the plows and it went higher, I didn't want to shove in the clucth she would come down hard, so I started to back trottle down slowly and that worked, but it was a ride for about 75 yds or so, WOW  wild,  I've plowed alot of ground none that hard, after I got struck out it went good.

Sod bustin' can be an experience; I once ran a old R Deere half way down a old hay field and my brother told me the front end was seldom on the ground; had a 5 bottom behind it buried deep!

I took one bottom off my 2000 monobeam because of that. Went from plowing in 3rd gear to plowing in 5th and plowed more ground with nicer results at the higher speed. And when my tractor's front end was up 6' I pushed in the clutch and lifted the plow, I didn't care how hard the front hit, I wanted the tires back on the ground, not the tractor on my head!
