Already voted. More voters than normally at 6:00 am. Maybe people are waking up. I hope so. Brother Den said the same at his voting place.

Left at my usual time for work, drove about 4 miles out of my to vote, took the dreaded highway instead of my usual back roads and made it to work at the same time.
A high school friend of mine always said, "If they want my vote they have to work for it, it must be pretty important cause by God I only get one and I ain't waste'n it or giving it to just anybody!"

Looks like a large turn out for an off year election.  Last off year there were 56 total votes cast in my precinct.  This year there were 34 cast the first hour.

I got done in 7 minutes.  Only two other voters in the polls.  More election judges than anyone else @ 6:45 this morning.

Get out and vote.

I waited for the first wave to vote, the people on their way to their jobs, dropping the kids off at school, etc.  I hit the voting precinct at a few minutes after 8 am local time and still had to wait in line for a booth.  One of the poll workers said it had been that way from the opening

Yep, did it this morning. Made my calls to the family that hadn't been to the poll yet, just to remind them to get there.

My polling location opened at 7. At 5 til 7 the parking lot there was full and there was a huge line. I'll vote tonight after work when I have plenty of time to wait my turn.

Did the early voting thing last week since it looked like I might have been out of town today.  As it worked out, I didn't have to go.  Either way, I got my little "I Voted" sticker though.

Yes, and with these new "easy to vote" machines, it only took 15 minutes of waiting to get it done. I've voted there for 28 years and never waited more than 2-3 minutes. Talked to ballot judges and they said much higher turnout than they've seen for mid-term election. I sincerely hope we voted out some the numerous idiots in politics this year! And that the rest will go in 2012!

Same here.  I get to use either of the following phrases as applicable:

Don't blame me, I didn't vote for the SOB.

or

I can't believe I actually voted for that SOB.
