Looking at the number of clutch disk, is this a WD 45 set up.

Appears to be 3-discs, which the later WD-45's had AND many WD's and early WD-45's were upgraded to when they wore out. Looks like lots of shims are still there for tightening it up if needed.

Tim,
I see shiney new PO paint we need some additional pictures! Watch the wear in the brass collars that move the clutch bearing. These can get very worn.
 Regards,
 Chris

Now what are  you working on Tim?
Did you ever take a pic of the steps I got for you?  Or don't you have them on yet?

I did post pics of those the steps on my 7000 you got for me. That was last summer. Maybe you were having computer trouble back then. Hers's a picture from today. My son came and helped me put that heavy snap coupler bracket on my WD.   Tim

Tim,
Great you had some help! It sure looks nice! How much work did you have to do on it? Brakes?
It reminds me of my last 45 project!
Keep up the good work and keep us informed! Color looks great!
Ok tell me the trick on the hand clutch. Is there room to get the hand clutch on the pivot pin with the right side rail in place? If so I never figured it out?
Regards,
 Chris

I do have new brakes for the tractor, but not installed yet. Once I put the motor in I will put the side rail on the other side on. Then take the other off to install hand clutch handle, and hydraulic pump. The engine is behind that white blanket on the right. I'm working on the clutch. Waiting for 5/16 bolts with a shoulder. Original bolts did not have shoulder, and are worn bad where pressure plate contacts them. This has been a multi year project that I keep plugging away at.

Tim,
I understand multi-year tractor projects too! My 45 was like that. Hate to see that nice PO paint get messed up. When I did the brakes I ended up finding a broken brake drum and the trumpet had to come off too. Ended up pulling both sides of the rear and that was a chore too!
Your doing great!
Not sure I know which bolts your looking for? Do you have a picture of them? Cant think of a shoulder bolt in there? If I remember right those pressure plate bolts are the ones I over torqued and broke one. ( I wasn't paying attention! ) They were somewhat standard I thought? I may have put in grade 8?
 Regards,
 Chris
