Hello all. Would anyone have an old 500 series loader lying around they are parting out? I am looking for a tip cylinder for one. The cylinder from a 400 loader is a different length so it has to be from a 500 to match my other one. Any and all leads appreciated.  Don Jr.

Don, don't give up. They can be had time to time. If you can wait might get one. I was about a year before I found one here. If you need one soon, might as well have someone make them or covert to standard from a hyd supplier. HTH Tracy

Gonna hate it if have to find a New One.  About the only way to get one now is to have a GOOD Hydraulic shop build one.  They generally have all the tooling to do this or access to suppliers for a basic cylinder that can be reduced in length to produce a replacement.

Uncertain how long the supplier I am using will remain in business as the owner has no one beating his door down to take over and he is closing in on retire.  He services close to seven states.

Check Surplus Center in NE they have 100 and 100 of cylinders match up the length of throw. The ends can be changed with some cutting and welding.
