We'll see how this works.   We've had nothing but rain for July, so this was one of those "rainy day" projects while we wait to make hay this summer.
Two holes were drilled for the top bracket.



Reused bottom brace from original step and welded a threaded rod to fasten it.

Looks good Ron. Have you got the door shock kit on it. I put one on, and with the 8000 series step mine is so easy now to get into.

Mack, the old step fastened onto the fuel tank and it worked ok.

Have you seen trouble with this new step set up before?

Have saw a lot of tanks leak from step supported to tank. That is why later tractors had step supported from belly of tractor.        MACK

Cab is mounted on rubber and you mounted the bottom to the fuel tank with no iso mount
