I just bought a wc today at an auction in OK. It has cast iron (not spoked) front wheels are these ac or somthing else (#71466 1937 I believe). It has pto and a power lift. What is the correct rear tire size (24" solid wheels)? And were all unstyled wc's distilate tractors?

I believe the spoker rears on the unstyled WC's were 10" x 24", if that helps.

That serial would make it a 1938 and would have had the 24" one piece steel wheel.

Here is a link to the discussion we had a week ago about the unstyled that I brought home.  According to your serial number, you should have disc rear rims on it.   I have a set here, but we're worlds away.   They only used them for a year or two?  I think.   I can't find my book with all the WC differences right now.

Yes it is the 24" one piece rear wheels I would like to know what size of 24" rear tire is correct? It has grader tires on it right now. And are the solid cast 5 bolt front wheels original? They seem like wheel weight wheels.

11.25X24 is what they were back then. When you say solid cast wheels I start thinking wheels off of a Speed Patrol which would explain the grader tires.

Put a pic on here of the cast wheels.   They could be Case rims.   They fit on allis five bolt hubs.

I found out after you let that the rear tires were probably bought used from the county.

Have you tried to take the front tire "slippers" off yet?
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for much of anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Sounds like WC speed patrol front wheels to me too. I guess the speed patrol didn't have the 5 bolt pattern.

An 11.25-24 tire back then is a 14.9-24 in today's numbers.

You got me, I don't know what those front wheels are?? They almost look like some industrial type.

Those are front rims off a CASE SC. I put them on mine if I need extra weight on my WC pulling tractor. Mike

Mike wins the cupie doll, SC Case. I don't know what they weigh, but they are heavy!
