It was all over the board here. Lowest corn yield I know of was 58 bpa. Highest that I have first hand knowledge of was 195pba. Beans went from 25bpa to 65bpa.
I hear ya on the rain thing. One side of the section would get 2 inches and the other side 2 tenths.

Awful in our area, 35 - 150 on 200 bu ground for corn. 15 - 45 for 65 bu ground for beans. All over the board. This is on flat black ground selling for over $7000 per a.

Corn was below average @ 130 bu/ac; normal is about 166 bu/ac. Soybeans was right at the average at 52 bu/acre. We had too much rain in June that caused ponding in the corn in some areas. Even well drained/tiled ground couldn't get rid of some of the water. Corn yield varied from 115 bu/acre to 184 bu/acre within 1/4 mile of each other, planted the same day, same variety of hybrid. Go figure.
Don't even talk to me about my grain marketing :(

I think the crops are all down some from the NO's they are posting.
My corn was under water two times this year and it still made 126 bu/ac; and thats way down from last year.

My early beans made almost 54 bu, corn made 152 - that was the shocker given the wet spots and had to replant some...and we still have 6 short rows left for me to pick ear corn. Beans in the Pilot Grove area went from the low 30's to a few in the mid-60's. Corn probably averaged in the 120's with some as low as 85. Like last year "bad" upland ground did better than most due to all the rains.
I still have my 6 acres hilltop field of early beans to get with the EIII...probably Sunday...the cows got in them an mowed them down early so it'll be interesting to see what they make. Then end of the month the double crops will be ready. I don't have enough acres to mess with advance marketing of my crops...my strategy (or lack there of) is either sell around harvest if I NEED the money or sit and pay some storage if I'm waiting for a better price or wanting to move income out to the next year...but this year for a change it looks like it's going to turn out well for me on prices and be able to sell in the fall... Got done on my birthday Tuesday.Best double crop beans 38 to 42 we have ever had for an average. First crop beans were 45 to 60. Corn was all over the board form 70 to 160. Probably the worst overall corn crop I have had in years. But at least I did get to plant all of my corn twice.....LOL And I didnt forward contract very little. With my corn crop ,if I get 6.00 I think I could break even.

Just got half done with my beans and am at 45 bpa I think. Average for my county is 40 bpa and I've only hit 40 once with my average being in the low 30's. So I'm tickled pink with 45 bpa. Hopefully the rest does as well and the price stays up.

Beans around here have been making 30-55 bpa which isn't too bad. Corn has been about 130 on average with some making in the 50's and some on up to 180. Was hoping for a little better on the corn.
