St. Louis craigslist has a great looking 190 for sale that has only 1617 original hours on it for a great price!!  Check it out!

Ryan - Good looking tractor but it has the wrong fenders for a Series III...those sloped fenders are for the original XT....Flat top fenders came out with Series II.   If the serial number matches a Series III one explanation might be that someone had a cab on it, sold the original fenders then the cab was later removed and earlier fenders put on.

If it the hours are accurate $6250 is a good deal.  I paid that for my 1969 One-Eighty with 1101 original hours in 2005.  Mike

It looks like it could be a real series III with older fenders. Besides the grill and tach (could have been replaced) the hydraulic pump looks to be the late style but I can't tell for sure. Also I don't think the early ones had the hydraulic cylinder hangers on the fuel tank. Did the early 190's have the air cleaner stack? My 1965 190 has no provisions for one.

My 68 xt does not have the pre cleaner hole in the hood but the air cleaner has the pipe.  I think it was just an option.

Precleaners were an option.  1600 Hours on a 40 year old tractor seems a bit too good to be true.  That is only 40 hours per year.  I wager the tach cable broke a long time ago.

I have a 190XT here that has under 1500 hrs on tach. I doubt its right, although it was a loader tractor all its life. pre cleaner was optional an all of them.
