Hey, new to allis but not to tractors, have a fords and farmalls. i went to look at a D14 industrial this past week. needs new clutch and some new gaskets. it runs but smokes bad. has a loader and backhoe on it think it was a henry or something (i remember the backhoe was chain driven.). wants 800 for it. comes with chains too. I like the shuttle drive on it. You think its worth it? any pics of others? Pics of this one to come soon. Thanks Taylor

Buy it! That's probably around scrap value for that tractor. Engines, clutches, and gaskets are pretty easy to fix...

That is too good a price to pass up. I would check the Shuttle Clutch to see if there is any problem there. Other things are not too difficult to repair.
Where In PA is this unit. It could have been one we sold.
Good Luck!

Seen a similar one sell in my area about a month ago for $1850.
I had bid the 1800.
AND it did not have the Heavy Duty front axle, OR Shuttle Clutch.
Not running either - had a bad Starter.
Gary
PS BUY IT QUICK

Yes, the Utility Tractors are few and far between nowadays. Here's a snapshot of the brochure. These were the predecessors to the D-Series Industrial Tractors.

The D14 my family owned had that model loader. very nice. But they had put a wider bucket on and it was too hard on the roll shift front axle. A solid industrial axle would be good setup.
