Can you imagine how many safety decals would be on that hitch nowadays?? Maybe one like "Caution, hitch is heavy. This will require 2 or more people to avoid injury". LOL!!!

I always laugh that they show how easy it is to hook up a snap coupler plow in the videos but they do hot have the operator get off and pickup the hitch, carry it over and throw it back on between the hookups. That was the real job.

I know I've seen one video of them putting the drawbar back on...but putting one on a WD or WD45 is a far sight easier than the one on my D17 Series IV...and the D19 would be even worse! Mike

Yeah, the draw bar on the D17 is not the easiest thing to put on -- taking it off is not much of a problem, LOL. However, I like the ease of hitching plows, planters, cultivators, etc, with the snap coupler. If I need to do draw bar work -- I usually use a different tractor. Is that cheating? LOL
