Looks good. I have M&W engine kits in two of my Deere 3020's and one 4020 diesel. They sure run good. In my soil you need to spend a day shinning up the plow bottoms before even thinking about plowing as the dirt will just stick. I was from Maryland and our soil there we could pull a plow out of the fence row where it was parked for 10 years and two rounds latter have it shinning like a mirror not here in WI. Tom

I have an old set for a wd, wd-45 etc. old stock still in box. was going to put them in the 45 with the stuck motor but will never get it done. ---back in the mid 60's everything had M&W in them.--big rage back then. ---Problem I see with the oversize stuff is that the starters never work after you put them in, pull starting is fine but takes 2 to do!

So do those liners fit the stock holes in the block? 1/8” is a pretty big gain. And 6 hp is a big gain too. Must have different compression ratio as well for WD45?

Yes Ed (Ont) they fit in the stock holes. 1/8 inch over and higher compression made a noticeable difference in the WD, WD45 and D17 that we used

I think they had a souped up starter to use with a M&W kit.

Dad moved the brushes on the generator to make it charge a little more and used a 8 volt battery. Over the years I think we broke 2 starter noses. They did make a gear reduction starter but we never did have one. Puled 3-14 with the WDs and 4-14 with the 17 in some pretty tough ground. This was back in the 60’s
