Is anybody else getting those aggravating google ads as soon as you open this site?? I started getting them from google bout Wed,,,,ARGgggggg,,!!!

ZERO ads...... I run Windows 7 Ultimate, no updates allowed, and use Mozilla Firefox as my Internet browser... What are you using ?

I run XP and firefox.
This AM I have been cover with ads.
I click to close the ad, them select " add is inappropriate" each time.
When this happen last fall, it took about 5-6 hours to get them blocked.

I think it is something new with the site. I dont think it is Goggle sneaking up on you. Just scan past it and go to the post... I doubt you can make them go away by clicking.. That probably just encourages them to repeat.

This IS GETTING aggravating,,!! I tried going in to Settings-Privacy-general- and clicked DiSABLE on "Show Me Suggested Content In Settings App" as most of the links suggest it stopped them last nite,,,,,but them sobs are back again this mornin.
A word of caution to google ads,,,I PROMISE TO NEVER, NEVER buy any of the products you are forcing me to view,,!! There,,,! That oughta teach em,,,,,,sorry no good sons of beaches,,,,,,(signed for Shameless)

Sorry, Google was pushing a new "auto formatting" option for ads and I thought I would give it a try. I didn't realize they would be so big and obnoxious. I'll get it settled down one way or another.

Darin, thank you! Thank you for this site. we all understand the need to pay the bills, and it is the advertising that accomplishes that. Even this new venture with advertising, it isn't as bad as some other places, my host IP's home page is darn near 100% adds.....and I'm paying for that! I have been remiss visa vi donations for quite awhile now, so let me fix that now, and remind others for those able and appreciate the site, donations are accepted! that may help in minimizing the adds lou

Got them on this end too! ----I see them on other forums too, ---I am real close to dis-owning all forums and stay on FB. ---At least over there ads are not a problems, PLUS they got Marketplace! ---git in all kinds of trouble in there!!! GOODIES for sale!

I don't know why there's so much complaining, The ad and picture I just saw was for, "Top large busted women's swimwear, D's and larger." Rekon they finally figured out there's a bunch of men on this site, found a compromise.

it literally takes 1 second to scan past the ADD to the POST.......... dont seem like a big deal.. I hate the sites where they continue to POP UP on top of what you are trying to read.

Most of the ads I see say YAHOO at the bottom, so they are all on the bandwagon.
I get the lady ads all the time too,----- just wasted space as far as I am concerned , unless its all skin,---I dont bother to look! ---just scroll on!
