I need more than 200 characters for my "signature." I'd love to see that changed to 250!

I took it to a couple plow days last fall. There's a couple organic farmers in the area that plow too.

Congratulations on such a cool 220. It’s got an in-line injection pump & later oil cooler with inverted oil filters. So is the 3500 a Gleaner transplant?
I also place my gloves, phone, & some misc items on the dash cowling like your Pepsi. Edited by AC7060IL - 04 Mar 2020 at 8:56am |

It's my grandpas tractor. He always had pepsi and donuts in the tractor when I rode with him when I was young. The story I got about the engine is it was a stationary unit. Supposed to have been 190 hp and was turned down to 150 after the original owner tore the bull gears out of it. This is info I got from the dealer. This engine was in it when my grandpa bought it in the mid 80's. He was the 2nd owner and the only 220 the dealer sold. I like the looks of the cab but it is in rough shape. My plan is to put it back to an open station whenever I can find and or afford fenders for it. Although the last plow day I attended was cool and windy. It sure was nice that day to have the cab but the plow day in August was 90 degrees. It was a little warm in the cab but it does keep the sun off me. I would like to rebuild the engine, pump and injectors because it has alot of blow bye. It seems to be lacking power. It doesn't like to start very well either.
