I am new to the AC tractor refurb hobby and just brought home my garage sale find and realized the carb is missing. Where can I find a replacement? Also what kind of hook-up is on the back? I am familiar with 3 pt. hitch. bur what kind of set-up is this?
Does anybody know anything about the mowere attachment? |

you can buy a used one on eBay.
That is the lift setup for the one bottom plow. You will need a lot of other parts before you are ready to plow.

I think that is a number 5 sickle mower, but not positive. Nice find. I've never gotten lucky and found a tractor at a garage sale. Anything you need to know can be found here. Good luck. |

jtbrew, welcome to the Forum. You will find plenty of advice on this site as you bring that C back to life. Nice single wheel front end, and you have what looks like most of the sickle bar mower bolted on her. The pan seat, though, doesn't belong on a C - should be a bench seat. If you don't already have them, you might want to start by ordering a set (Operator, Parts, Repair) of manuals - advertisers on this site carry them or (gasp) you can find them on eBay. Enjoy and welcome aboard.

Looks like you have the "BC" Sickle mower there as well as the Hydraulic Splitter for the rear lifts.
Nice find

Is the engine seized ?
The muffler raincap appears twisted and not covering the pipe.

I notice you are in California. Try Tony at Tony's Tractors for a carb. He's not far away in Turner, Oregon.

Where are you located in California? I am in Newcastle, about 35 miles north east of Sacramento. It looks like you need more than a carb.

I am in Hollister Ca. Yeah, I understand there are a few things that need to be found. I would like to see some close up pictures of a refurbished C so I can get a better look at what I need to do. I have not ordered all the manuals yet, but will do that soon. I heard there is an A.C. guy in Morgan Hill and I am looking foward to talking with him.
I am trying to get ahold of the guy who sold me the tractor and ask if he has the carb sitting around. That could save me some time and money. |
