Depending on yield and the price you sold it for vs land rent and all other input costs there is a possiblity for a negative number. They were showing that this summer on the buletin board at the grain elevator, they were using average rates at the current price for the day.

No rent. If there is it's $50. Full no-till. Generic everything. No corn on corn so no traits but GT. We don't send any money to St. Louis. No Monsanto on this farm. Last year we averaged $117 per bag of seed corn. (not counting silage corn for $68 a bag) $33 for beans. Used seed from 5 or 6 companies. They all price matched the lowest. We don't pay retail for anything and that's the first thing we tell them when they knock on the door. My survival is more important than theirs.............
