Quick update as some of you guys are interested.  I'm just finishing the final tune up on my swap 4-53T into a 2009 Ford F350 and the cab goes down for the final time.  Will be bcking out of my shop very soon.:)  Here's an updated video of the project so far.

Congrats! I’m interested in hearing it pull a load & Jakebrakeing. As you pointed out numerous times during your video, there are many things that require attention for a complete swap.

Only a 4-53? That will be great if all that you’re looking for is a lot of noise and smoke. Seems like a lot of work for what will end up being a considerable lack of power, although being a Ford owner, you really don’t have a concept of power. Why do you think everyone wants a 5.9 Cummins to replace those worthless V8s in Fords?
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

Worked 53s and 71s for close to two decades, do not miss them much anymore. Carbon from the engines always stained everything including my hands. I also find this a bit underpowered for the chassis even with an automatic and not needing higher rpms, but still weak.

Cannot get away with such swaps in the US much anymore, US EPA and State Enviro guards block such changes as to non-streetable or licensable as do not meet regs of cab build date.

Incredible build. Detail is fantastic. I have a feeling that truck will run just fine. And i am neither a Ford or Detroit fan. Well,the cab over Pete with a 12v92 I saw yesterday gave me a little tickle.

Twin turbos and a larger blower will make things interesting ! Wife's cousin has a 12V92 that he is planning to slide into a Western Star conventional .

The workmanship on this project is just amazing... no shortcuts and everything is tidy!! Like Calvin said, with twin turbos, larger than stock blower and intercooler there will be enough power to move that truck along just fine. After all, this was never intended for racing anyway. What size injectors will you be running in this? I once tried "65's" in my 6V53, they worked fine up to about half throttle after that it was a case of over fuelling... just grey smoke. Thanks for posting this progress report for us.
Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!

Thanks Eric, Like you said it's not a race engine but built for economy and reliability.  I'm installing 7A77's today and set the governor yesterday to 3200 no load, should give me 3000 loaded.  With the turbo, blower, intercooler I should be around the 230-250 HP and 550-585 LBFT of torque.  With this setup is should pull from 1500 rpm to 2500 smoke free.  Not far off from backing out of the shop and start road testing.

Thanks Paul, I've tuned and modified this engine to be around the 250 HP and 580 LBFT of torque.  It's tuned for smoke free performance and with the noise mods I've done it's close to a Cummins 12V.  I already own a 93 Dodge with a 12V, so this is something different.  For the power this has it's fine for a daily driver and towing up to max GVW combined for my F350.  I'm not brand loyal, just happens to be a truck I got a great deal on.  Trucks don't mean anything to me, they just provide a means on moving stuff and getting me there.

Right. A four door 6.0 Lariat is a great deal in a truck. All it needs is an engine.
