Where was this? I live about 65 miles from Richmond and was always unaware of it. The last tractors off the line was Dec.6,1985. 34 years ago this coming Friday. I was reading a letter last week from Duetz Allis to the dealers in March of 89 (I think)saying that the last 2 tractors, 6070 and 8070 would be sold to the dealer with the highest bid. The letter stated that they could be viewed at the Richmond, Indiana distribution center. How did they end up there and what transpired in those 4+ years? Where was this building? Something to think about.....

sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"

The distribution center was in the old Huffy bicycle factory beside the Wayne School Bus factory in Richmond, IN. I personally saw both tractors sitting side by side there in 1988 or 89. Supposedly the 8070 went to Saudi Arabia and the 6070 was in someone's personal collection and sold about a year ago but I can't remember where at.
