I bought another AC toy today ,it has a bottom plow &
Roto-tiller with it . It has a 12 hp motor ,3 speed transmission & hydrulic . Don't know if anything works . That is a gardentractor that AC built for a few years that were not built that good and never sold very well either , so they had Simplicity make them again.

I believe it is a 300 series. http://www.simpletractors.com/models/300_series/1971_flyer.htm Probably a 310 or 312, the 314 would have had a larger air cleaner can. |

If they didn't sell well it was more because of the looks. They are very heavy. They do use a Simplicity bevel gear box and transmission. If you read the history section at Simpletractors it will explain more about the history of these models. I have a 416H, its a little bit harder to work on than the Simplicity built models (more like working on a deere.) Other than that its a stout machine. Edited by ACmowerguy - 24 Sep 2010 at 8:01pm |

The three and four hundred series lawn tractors were made in Georgia, I think by Roper, while Allis went through an anti-trust lawsuit about Allis's acquisition of Simplicity. Allis won the case, and Simplicity again built the Allis tractors.
