Smokin HOT predicted for this Sept 7 Saturday tractor pull in Whitehouse Texas. Over 100 degree pullin weather ain't much fun. I must remember to ware leather gloves when handling chains and boomers if they were laying out in the hot sun.  Don't look like it will cool off here anytime soon.    Pullin my CA before 11 may not be to bad.

I have a fan that can be hooked to a water hose. Misters ahead of the fan blades are supposed to cool you off. I bet it would work especially good if you were buck naked and it was 102 degrees in the shade.  Somethin to try at home

Cooler weather is a ways off for us . I'm so ready . Like Ken said , I was doing a little fence repair right in the sun and some of my tools got too hot to hold . Some "pretty" sounds good to me . Thanks 😓

well,,,I know we all say we lookin forward to colder weather,,,every year long bout this time of year but it just seems like THIS year been lots more unbearable than others,,,,maybe it's just the "gettin older" part of it,,but it's bothered me more so this year than others. With the meds I have to take for the dang diabetes, I just cannot stay out in the sun too long 'fore I start gettin light headed and gots to head inside or at least in the shade,,,so that explains why I don't seem to get as much done as before,,,,????
Fact is,,,My 3 year Grandson DID ask me why we gots to take so many "breaks",,? The little chit,,!!!LOL
I figure I can put up with ole Shameless's attempts at gettin to me this year better than this HEAT,,,,,altho,,,,,the long term weather is lookin like we be gettin into the 80's as highs and not too long afterwards the 70's,,,yea,,,,yeaClap

I gots so dang tired of pushing ol shameless "stuff" last winter. I'm a hoping we get outta here for Dec,Jan,Feb. I'd probably kick in a few bucks for one of you guys to sneak over there and weld that dang snozzel shut. I know there's several pounds of welding rod out in The shop I'd toss in the cab too. Oh well, sitting here tonight watching the country music shows on PBS. Dang good listening.

The next couple months are supposed to be warmer and wetter in my part of the country, sounds good to me but I need to get my last field of hay raked, baled and stacked before Tuesday afternoon and it rained a bit this afternoon.
