to everyone in our Orange family! I haven't posted as much as I used to as I have been so darned busy but trust me I still bleed Orange. I have been making quality hay with my son, grand son and grand daughter. I mow and bale with the D19; I tedd and rake with the WD. I need seat shock rubber bushings for both tractor seats, any ideas where I can find these? Thanks and I hope y'all have a safe fall! Captain Dana

Good Morning Cap't. Does that D19 come up a little short of power when the baler gets into heavy hay? I like the pic, thanks.

Sorry I can't help ya with the bushings you need Cap, but it's nice to see you are still all in one piece. I have been staying busy myself trying to grow #1 produce for the local Farmers Market and upscale restaurants in my area. I check in here at least twice a week and couldn't pass up the chance to say howdy to a interesting forum member I have never met. Ken in Texas

It is a good morning, hearing from you Cap'n. Your absence has been duly noted and I'm glad to see you back. I've missed your posts, and pictures. We get to experience parts of the country we would otherwise not know, and knowledge about flight we have never seen. Keep up your posts. Glad you're enjoying orange with your family.

Having owned a D19 for the last 23 years I feel I can answer that question for the Captain. A D19 is busting with power. A little baler like that wouldn't phase it. They are a good reliable, comfortable and powerful tractor. The only area they lack is in hydraulics unless you can find one with the auxiliary pump.

Good to hear from you. I too have not posted much here, since My model C
has been running well since my rebuild, with help of many posters and
advertisers on this page. Since I could not find a reasonably priced,
local, model G to rebuild, I have gotten into rebuilding lawn/yard
tractors. Here's are several photos of my Montgomery Wards 18/46, painted
up in Persian Orange I, with dual exhaust and an A-C logo. Lots of fun.

Greg the D19 is a perfect companion to the NH 315 baler and for the 489 Haybine also for that matter. I usually rake 1 1/2 windrows together for 1st cutting and 2 or 3 together of second and third cutting just prior to baling. In very heavy windrows you can surely hear the governor talking on each stroke lol. However I do have some steeper hills and when baling up a steep draw with over a half load on the wagon I could definately use a fully weighted 190XT! But overall she is a beaute and a pleasure to spend day's with.. |

I think that's the same shock as the front of 70's vintage chevy with loops. Plastic and rubber bushings should be in nearly every car part store.

Captaindana, Great to hear from you again. Thanks for the pics. Is my memory getting worse or did I read that there will be another GOTO at Canandaigua? Didn't see it in the recent OAN. If i'm right, what year?
Don't want to miss it. Maybe a chance to meet the Captain. Bob@allisdowneast |

Delighted to see you name back on board. Welcome back!!!
In looking for your bushings - I know what it's like not to have them - you could try in addition to those listed above e-bay. Never can tell what you find there.
Good Luck!
