    Posted: 27 Jul 2019 at 4:45pm
I have a '51 John Deere B and a John Deere #5 mower.  Of course I also have a '55 wd45.  I was thinking it sure would be handy if I could attach this sickle mower to the Allis.  I was taking measurements and thinking of making "mounting brackets" for the Allis.  Then I thought maybe somebody out there has mounting brackets they no longer need or want.  So, does anyone have brackets they no longer need, and would sell ?
Thanks  Dennis in Iowa

Here is the part # for the extension out of the #5 mower book. AZ3803H. if you go to jdparts.com and type 5 in the equipment search then goto 5 sickle mower the is a drawing of the hitch extension that will give you what it looks like to make one.
