Splitting a 49 B to replace the torque tube.  I know many of you have done this more times than y'all care to mention.  First time for me,  four post lift helping me out...

Fantastic! I see by the looks of your work area that You would never want to try to work in my shop.  Nice looking place. Whats the moldy green stuff on the torque tube? did someone try to marry it to a jack sheep? (:^D

Plastic filler from a prior owner.  The tube is eaten away from battery acid. OLD-

GREAT SHOP!!  Wish we had one quarter of it when we sold. 
Remember splitting a B at a customer's place.  Hung the engine from a sturdy tree limb and walked the back away to install a new clutch and throw out bearing.
Nice looking B.  Taking good care of my favorate.
