Just manage to purchase the Allis G that I used for 25 years. It is a 48 according to the serial #. I used it on a weekly basis for my truck farming an my asparagus operation. Interested in pictures and history now that I own the little G and plan to make it a showpiece. Would like info from all.

Welcome to the Forum,  John, and congratulations on acquiring that G! For pictures, check out the posts about the various shows - often there are pictures of the G with various implements.

John,  First Welcome to the Unofficial Allis Chalmers Forum.  It is our pleasure to be of any assistance we can.

I was pleased to sell the G for the life of the unit.  In fact, some of the G's we sold are still in daily use.  They just can't get anything else to do the job as well.

Any questions or information just ask.

Good Luck!

Bll Long

Thanks Bill. Headed to a small tractor show and swap meet in Viola, Il a few mile from here. Now that I own the little G I'm going to make her shine.

How do I add something to the calendar of events? The Edwards River Antique Engine Assn. fall show is at Rodeo Park in New Windson, Il September 25-26. Allis Chalmers and Economy Engines are featured this year. for information contact Dick McMeekan 309-596-2348. Breakfast and lunch on grounds both days. 3$ admission includes show button.

There is another show in Joslin, Il the next weekend also ant the Antique Engine & Tractor Association new show grounds.

Click on Forum Home in the upper left corner and then on calender of events. After that it's just like posting here.

On the main forum page select the category 'shows and events'  When you enter the date for the event there, I believe it will transfer over to the calendar.

You don't post it on the calendar. You open the "Shows and Events" forum and post it there and it will be put on the calendar. The show in Joslin is this coming weekend, the 17th, 18th and 19th. Feature is MinnieMo.
