There is a post on another forum about D-21 pullers and some seem to think that was/is the best looking ALLIS of all time. I personally think it's an ok looking machine but I am partial to the looks of an XT, especially if it's dualled up.Also the black bellied 7000's are real head turners IMO. Curious what others think as I have a feeling we will be having ample "reading" time due to the last weather forecast that I saw for "here"

I would have to say the D-21 even though I don’t own anything in the D series runner up would be a 220.

The simple unadorned hand crank 38 and 39 Bs with hand brakes and no lights and no muffler cluttering up its profile has to be my favorite. A IB comes in a close second because they are just plain neat to look at.

That is a good looking tractor, but can someone tell me how they get the decals on the filters to be in "basically" the same position when tightened? That's the kind of detail that catches my eyes. My luck I would have 1 facing out and the other facing the block LOL!!! Thanks for the pic

The D21 is a sharp looker but for me an early 190XT with the slope fenders and a narrow front looks about as good as it gets. A painted up D15 series II or a later D17 looks good as well.Tom

My favorite looker is still the unstyled WC. Many others run a close second, but unstyled WC it is.

Thought this was an impressive pic... ![]() A 220 would rank right up there, along with the 190XT series III. Thou the one I liked thge best when growing up was this one, an old WD on LP gas. ![]() It pulled 3-14 plow, an 8' disc, planted, raked hay, baled hay, cultivated corn, picked corn and was a daily chore tractor for years. and then one year the picker didn't come off after we were done and has been a picker tractor ever since. Probably due to the fct we had another WD, a WD45 and a D17 by that time.

Definitely WD-45. No better looker, no better performer, pound for pound.

Mine would be definitely a dually D21.The design of that tractor was short of a masterpiece.Followed by the narrow front D17 & 19’s ...IMHO

My favorite looking model is the D14/D15 style with the wide front ends...and man are they comfortable to drive! The steering wheel, floor boards, gauges, etc. are all perfectly designed for comfort.

C actually all the styled tractors WD45,WD,Wc,Ca,C and the B.the C has always been my favorite. The round smooth style is just artwork. Its far from the most comfortable not easy to get on or off,but it sure looks good.

#1 8000 series including the 4W-220
#2 6000 series #3 Black belly 7000 series Worst looking the 100 and 200 series honestly looks wise a step back from the D10-19. D21 looks to much like a 200 series. |

Now that I think about it, any Series 2 D- 10 through 17, with the headlights UP-FRONT,not the fender as in a series 3, JMO.

Ok I'm biased here but my favorite is a WD that dad put a 6cyl gas motor in. 16.9 28s big 3 rib fronts and an oval muffler that had a sound like nothing else. After that, a 220 with 34s
