So I belong to numerous other forums, and this always proves to be one of the most popular posts in regards to ongoing activity. It gives people a place to drop in and post pics and descriptions of their activities with their favorite tractor.
So I will start it off. Wednesday I brought home my restored 1939 model B. Last night I picked up my Slow Moving Vehicle sign so I am legal to cruise around town when the rain finally stops! Today will be dedicated to further cleaning and converting the straight plug wires to 90* boots until I can figure out the correct original style plug wires and terminals. |

I drove by it in the rain today. It is sitting at a job 1 1/2 miles away in the rain with a Miller Lite can over the exhaust. I WAS grading a lot at a new home construction job. But it has rained 4 inches. Rain forecasted every day except tomorrow until May 1.What a soggy mess! Went out to central Illinois Thursday and water standing Everywhere!!

Tractors all holed up in the barn out of the rain. Rain or showers predicted here for most every day this coming week as well. Might get some snow Wednesday.

Bush hogged brush on a few acres with one of the WD's to clear some more pasture. Made a couple of rounds in the other pasture with the other WD and tandem disc, but still a little to wet in some areas so it can wait another few days.

On the CA, took the back blade off and put the draw bar on.
Cut and burned a bunch of dead spruce last weekend. Had a chain on the back blade so I could hook it onto the trees and use the hydraulics to lift one end off the ground before dragging to the burn pile. Tons of brush on the ground yet in the yard...time for the wagon...Gotta have the draw bar on to use that! Jared |

Used my WD to pull a hay wagon full of old decking lumber to the burn pile. 2 trips to get more seat time. I love the foot throttle on it. Ole girl purred like a kitten.

Used the WD to take the kicker off my NH 270 baler ... Used the WD to run some "test" bales through said aforementioned baler... removed loader from WD *(twice) .... attempted to plow the garden with the 3 bottom on the WD ... tinkered with the plow because i couldn't figure out why the plow wouldn't "plow" (third moldboard doesn't dig in)
gave up on that Tinkered with the CA air cleaner (cu[p keeps falling off) ... then took said CA out to the hay field for some afternoon picnicking with the wife.

Didn’t mess with the tractors today but finished up working on JD 640 hay rake- it’s ready to work and then replaced twine knives on NH 311 baler and removed bale knives and sharpened them and got the baler ready to work.

Used 2 5015's, one with front loader to dig out and eliminate some pot hot holes. Used the other one to grade driveway after making some new blades for the homemade 3 point grader. Then topped off with 9+ ton of new stone and graded. 17 tenants that use it should be happy.

Walked past the series II D15 and though that bad valve stem is leaking on the rim and that clutch did not replace itself last winter and now spring work is here. Did finish planting oats and chiseled some corn ground with my green tractors. Tom

Friday I changed the oil and filter, the fuel and hydraulic filters on the 185. Then went out and put a good layer of dust on her planting corn. Have about 10 acres left, then time to get her cleaned up a little.

I walked past the 45 a couple times yesterday, so I could get the sprayer out and mounted on the 4 wheeler. It's been sitting so long, the front wheels are an inch down in the dirt floor

Recently- 160- bush hogged a bunch of blueberry prunings. Replaced the rear remote outlets. Changed the hydraulic filter and fluid, cleaned that inlet strainer. Used the Power Adjust rims and set to plowing width. I should have plowed and disked my garden, but the soil is saturated. Last year I planted May 4 th. This year may be a bust. Swamp land. 720-York-raked the driveway. Aerated the lawn. C- Started it up. Won't use until cultivating time. |

Does it have to be tractors? Dad and I worked on mowers. Gathered the parts for his 82t gearbox, disassembled the boxes out of 2 80t mowers and 1 #7, made plan and parts list to get 3 boxes rebuilt! Made list of parts needed for #7 mower (see want ad in classified). Fetched my ca from my uncles place to get drawbar built. Got loader off Darrel in nd’s 5215 so it’s ready to go in shop for engine replacement.
