Supposed to pick up the kid tomorrow morning at the Airport. Looks like his gonna be home to see his oldest kid graduate from high school. Be somewhat of a relief when the plane pulls up to the unloading dock. His oldest som received some great awards for his dedication to his FFA class in high school. There are 6 guys in his group that received similar awards. A bunch of real cool guys and gals. Most have plans to go into some ag related sort of education/jobs in life. 1 gal -- a couple of guys -- premed vet classes, several taking welding classes, one is headed to JD school, another has already started some ag related computer design classes. Looks like a Groupe ok kids with their heads screwed on straight.

congratulate him for me Tom...hope the son does well in what ever he decides to do. and thank his Dad for helping to protect my big fat butt! altho FFA is usually in smaller communities, they have a lot to offer, and this country still needs a younger generation doing ag stuff! without agriculture here, we would just be a puppet to other countries.

Son is home tonight
I took him down to see. His 96 year old grandma today. She was glad to see him as we all were.

We went to crackerbarrell. His choice. I think he had double order of Pork Chops. Not something they have in the mid east. His mom insisted on buying. I figured I better order the same stuff she had. I had biscuits and gravy.
