Well here is my next project as I found it. I drug it home on Labor Day. It was only 7 miles from my house. I love the fact that I can think of at least 9 B/C/CA's within 20 miles of me! They were very popular with so many small farms in the area.
The price was very agreeable as the previous owner was glad to hear that it will run again. I plan to make this my "plow tractor". I traded for a complete single bottom plow last year, and now my '47 B is pulling full-time lawn mowing duty. This B is a '41 dual fuel. It is "loose" with no water in the pan. It has been converted to foot brakes, a "conversion" distributor and a CA Zenith carb. I plan to take my time and do this one nearly "right".
I am looking for a rebuildable starter and genny. Please see my ad in the classified's if you want to part with one. Edited by RyanTN - 09 Sep 2010 at 11:12pm |

foot brakes came out in 41. Some B's had Zenith carbs on them.
Nice find, good luck with it.

There's a late model B for sale in Colfax at the intersection of 117 and old 6. Looks like it has a Woods L59 under it.

A B and single bottom blow is a hoot to run. Enjoy your new project.
