Wife is thinking there's no cure!

Got my L2 on Wednesday. Took some pictures today next to the M2. Both real nice machines. L2 is Hydro. Going to deliver the M2 to the neighbor on Monday. He bugged me for over a year that he wanted to buy the M2 from me so I went and got me a new one. The first picture is of my #3 daughter and my sister's #3 son.

Great machine!  Looks like it has a new unloading auger.  Keep it folded back for safe keeping.

New last year.  I guess the previous owner has a mishap. New tube, auger, swivel, lower galvanized bin side and bin floor. Thanks for the good comments guys. I hope it works as good as it looks and for as much as I paid for it.

Nice, looks like an 81 model, do you have the luxury cab option?(factory carpet, stainless steel steering wheel, chrome and black gauge trim) those were some classy machines.

Same tank setup I've had on 3 combines. M2, L2, and still have the 87 L3. rrhead(SD)

Yes, it's an 81. You know,, I didn't pay attention to gauges and steering wheel. How observant of me! No carpet. I'm guessing if the steering wheel was stainless I would have noticed. The tan interior shows more dirt than the M2's black interior.

The shed in the picture doesn't have big enough doors but the one behind it does but no room until I unload a couple racks of straw hopefully tomorrow. Over winter I might store it and the heads at a friend's place. They have a huge shed that has sat empty for 10 years or more. Only drawback is it about 17 miles away!

Gleaner1, what let you know it was an 81 and not an 82?

My beans are pretty green yet. Second pic between the two combines you can see the field. Pic was on Saturday. Since then they have yellowed some. Might help a guy on his corn. I think his corn might be ready to go in two weeks before my beans. I waited and planted the beans in mid May and I think I'm glad I waited as some of the earlier planted beans look like they got too much water early on. Still all the crops look really good here. Although, when you walk into some of the corn fields the cobs seem pretty small.
