When you start post look in the toolbar above the message board for a tree symbol. Click on the tree. you will be able to browse your computer for the pic you want to post. You will most likely need to resize the pic lets just say 600 x 400 for example. If those numbers are off your pic will be distorted. Type in any text you want then post your pic. Here is a link from another topic.

You can post it on photo bucket and resize, use some of the other photo programs . I have used the snipping tool in Win vista and Win 7 to make another copy . you can also change the numbers when posting here to proportion it smaller .
Also you can use the search feature on this site to look up other ideas or ways to solve the problem . Edited by Coke-in-MN - 06 Sep 2010 at 9:04pm |

if you have windows look and see if you can open the picture with MIcrosoft Picture Editor. They have a Edit Picture Menu at top, in the menu it has a section that says Resize, if you click Resize it has choices, I usually use 'document medium' or 'document large', about 600x800 is plenty big, that will reduce the size so it works and fits the screen better too. After you resize you will have to save the picture, to the same name if you don't want the original picture anymore or to a new name like pic_small.
Seems like a lot of work and it is easy to get lost when you actually attach it to you post. I still have trouble with getting the text and picture how I want it, multiple pictures still gets me lost. |

When I post pics I chose the one I want and then click on edit, then I can click on image and use skew/stretch. If I change the % on height and width to 33% it comes out just the right size. I've tried Photobucket and never did get any pics posted, not sure what I did wrong.

After you upload the picture, before posting click the preview and see what size the picture is. If it is bigger than 800x600 it will be too big to see on the normal page. You can change these numbers but need to keep the ratio the same between height and width.
