Has anyone added Hyd cylinders to their manual wings? I like the disc but my back and shoulders don't. It is 16 ft and most places I farm is small acreage. Roads are narrow and most barns are 12 ft hallways with about 11 ft clearances and short doors and I can keep it in the dry. Just want to know if anyone has done this and can it still fold flat?

My Dad had them on the 2300 disc he purchased new in 1974. They did not fold completely flat, but if I recall the difference in transport width was negligible. Mike

I've put up a few mailboxes before. 14 ft offset behind a pickup will get them. I like the looks of a 1010 kewanee? One close I need to go look at. Do they work ok?

I've got an 18 ft with hyd wings (2300 model) for sale...it would be a lot easier than trying to retro fit yours...lol. I realize the drive might be a bit far though...

Yes, a 16' hyd fold is about 14' folded up.... wings just tilt up just over 90 degrees.
