Looks to be in good shape compared to mine when I bought it. I disassembled mine to do a total repaint and repair. Working full time, it took me 11 months. Had a lot of repairs to do. Good luck, I am sure it will turn out well.

Looks like a great canvas. ANy other pictures? Looks like the hood had the 'Special' decal on it at one point, which was usually the designation for the bareback 720's. I have ctually only seen two 720 'Special' labeled machines. Could be a missing dealer tag too...

Your 720 sure appears to be in good condition; I like your trailer also. The meaning of Special/Bareback? Herb(GA)

Special had no front or rear pto, no 3 point. They were built for those that wanted to use it with a loader, front blade, or other equipment not needing pto or 3 point. Saved customers money that didn’t need those options. A fully optioned 720 had front and rear pto, front and rear hydraulics, 3 point, and a hour meter. Also had 3 different type tires to choose from. AG, turf, and terra wide tires. An exceptional little machine. I have 2-720’s with 6 attachments. Ahead of their time IMO. They do a lot of work for their size.

This is for the same person that owns the HB212 that I just restored. Serial 001243 which I think makes it a 75. The decal up front was the dealer logo. This one hasn't ran since 08. He is the original owner. I have a 720 as well serial number 001614. I think I rather work on the little ones everything's packed pretty tight together on these 720s. It's like working on a watch. Steve I'll be ordering a wiring harness soon.

Wish a wiring harness was available 6 years ago when I went thru mine. Destroyed by a fire from a mower deck bearing failure catching grass clippings on fire laying on the deck. What a job making one but it can be done. Hope Steve can help you. Will save you a lot of time.
