Does anyone know if all distributers are interchangeable between a W.D. ,W.D. 45 and a D-17. What about the Pertronix points replacement module, are these all the same ?

Thank you

The WD & WD45 Distributors are the same as far as dropping them in and using them. The centrifical advance is a tic different in each Distributor but they're interchangeable and would work fine in either the 201 or 226 engines. The D17 is a whole different animal..

There is one Pertronix unit that will work in most of the earlier 4 cylinder cast iron Distributors. (1111411, 1111735, 1111745, 1112609 as examples) The D17 again takes a different Pertronix unit. We're a Pertronix dealer if you're looking for an E.I.  We also rebuild Distributors, and have most of the AC Distributors for exchange including the D17/D19 Distributor with or without tach drive..
