Well,,I'll tell youse Guys,,,,,I don't like to fight progress and be left behind,,,,so,,,,,I gots my application in to the State for a permit to buy the happy weed,,gulp,,I meant the "Health Benefit Supplement" ( How bout thet description?) Some friends of ours was tellin us bout the many benefits like back issues and arthiritus, insomnia and I expect, many others. I expect like other things,,this can be abused and prolly will be by others,,but the benefits sure do sound good,,!! I will say this, ever since the wife's health issues, her insomnia has gotten so bad, most nights she did not get any sleep at all,, consequently,, ole Joe didn't either,,!! A friend gave me some pills that she says helped her greatly,,so we agreed to try some... SHE WAS NOT LYIN,,,!! The friend told me to give her 1/4 of a pill and try that first, then go to 1/2 pill but the 1/4 pill did the trick and then only when she has real problem gettin to sleep. SO,,,I'm gonna hippy-up and get me a perscription,,Ya know,,I likes to be legal,,,,

From TV news, in Iowa to get it prescribed there are 8 approved conditions and a couple more under review. Asked my Dr about it last week while in for my 6 month tune-up. None of what I've got are on the list.

Joe O'l buddy O'l pal just how bad you want it  ? It is kinda,almost, everybody else out here is growing there 6 plants. I am told 6 plants could keep you all happy,happy easy for a year. Everything is good if the Fed's don't show up and end the big party all da Snowflakes is a having.

well let me say this. And i hope (lookin over my shoulder) that rhar ain't no policeman gonna read this but I can get my skinny butt off this chair and come back in a mere 30 minutes and have that prescription joint in hand .
And I'd be willing to bet I'd probably feel much better too.

I ain’t so sure it’s all it’s cracked up to be. I live near a bunch of dirt legs and all them have aches and pains all the time and they’re never happy.
I wrote a song at work called getting buzzed on medicinal weed. I texted it to a few dirtlegs and they weren’t all peaceful and happy like the stereo type says. Rotflmao.
There’s a group here that started cause the state hasn’t allowed any growers or dispencerary licenses.
A guy at work joined the group and was telling about it at work. I told him how sorry I was that he had cancer. He wasn’t peaceful and happy either.

Local gal, associate to my wife has a little weed problem and is on the road to losing her kids over it. Her attorney must also be a problem as that person suggested before her next custody hearing she make a 'Vacation trip to CO and then come home with documentation as to stay and expenses. That to justify the THC in her system to the court as she is to be drug screened to retain her children.
Do not understand her reasoning, is STILL illegal in MO to recreational use even as passed medical use will not be allowed til next year so if she screens positive she may still lose her children custody to their father for lack of sensibility to NOT use at all. Cannot fix foolish or stupid.

I see the same here. I know coworkers that claim I’m rich. They have the exact same opportunities I do. They get paid on Friday and the first stop is to drop $250.00 at the weed dealer. The rest of their pay goes to cigs, beer and the rest of their habits. If anything is left they’ll buy groceries or milk for their babies or maybe rent. They’re finding that a lot of wrecks are caused by pot smokers but it hard to test compared to alcohol and some states refuse to test. I’ve wondered if those two girls that passed that big yellow school bus with big flashing lights and the big stop sign sticking out that said they didn’t realize it was a bus May had a puff or two?? A coworker canoe back from lunch recently grabbed up a scrap of roof sheeting, heals it in his hand and made a cut with a skillsaw. He cut his thumb off. He wasn’t all that warm n fuzzy peaceful every time we gave him the ole thumbs up.👍

I DO know that stuff does help my wife sleep when her insomnia gets really bad. I think I would like to try some for my dang arthritus on my fingers. It is gettin worse and worser. Most nights I gotta keep my fingers closed cause they hurt like haides when I open them,,,,,PPPPFFFFTTtttt,,,

So you know I do support mediweed that is prescribed by a real doctor. Yes I wouldnr mind some arthritis relief myself. Right now at work we’re framing a huge hip roof porch roof. Wouldn’t you know it??? My 20 years younger than me help can’t wirk up in the air and avant- cut rafters and ain’t strong enough to poke them up to me. My fat old ass climbed 3 stories of scaffold about 3 hunert times yesterday while the weed smokers stood watch. Please forgive my anti weed negativity.👍

I HEAR YA,,,,,,this "new culture" is not really "NEW",,although you do see more and more of it everywhere these days. During my last 20 years at work, I was in Supervision and in Management the last 10 years of that period. I could not begin to guess how many job applicants we had to turn away because of failed drug and alcohol screens,,,,I mean,,they didn't even have the common sense to at least stop usin long enough to maybe pass the friggin tests,,!!!! There were all kinds of "Tricks" to eat or take to cover the drug screens,,but they obviously didn't work too good,,, One of our Sons was in Supervision with an oil company and he tells me "That Chit is everywhere" It's a wonder more people are not hurt than there is,,,, (But,,,,but,,,I still want to try some for my aching fingers)

Some chronic dope smokers can't function without it because it is there 'norm'. I've known a few. Some aren't worth a chit some are. The workplace is unacceptable. Recreation I don't have a problem with.
Back in July I really jacked my back up. Went back to work after 3 weeks but still gives me grief and have cut my hours back and layed off the heavier work and give it to the young guys.
Well a long time friend of mine told me about THC extract he can get and you use it with a cheap vape pen. His wife has been going through pain pills and sleeping pills ( due to pain and not being able to sleep) and he got her some of this stuff. She tried it and from his view point was amazing.
I never was a big weed user because I didn't like the side effects. Some good, some not, depends on the strain of weed. I chose Indica because it is more of a body high versus a total mind/brain thing. Kinda hard to explain.
I am going to try this before I go to bed and see what happens. Haven't done it yet but I am. Heard about too many positives that I have to find out myself.
Probably TMI but it is what it is. The Black SUV's should probably be rolling in here in the next month or so. I work on ATF vehicles so I know what they look like.

I still carry a CDL, do not want to challenge that, along with that in the MO statute just passed to Allow Med MJ there is a SMALL Inconvenient Caveat as to you Accept Med MJ you RELIQUISH ALL and ANY firearms or Firearms rights. Just a FYI for those thinking of partaking if they have not schooled up on these laws, MOST are written with that seemingly inconspicuous and buried in the small print caveat.

Somebody there needs to get ahold of the ACLU or any GOOD lawyer, as that they cannot take away without due process. It is a 2nd amendment right. Just another way for the Domocraps to get our guns away from us. They know, the cold war in the US is heating up and they are AFRAID!!

I have NEVER smoked any of that stuff in my lifetime...so far! don't know why i'd start now! i'm prolly the only one within 1000 miles like that. my job and home life just never would have accepted it. so ya'll do what ya wanna do, I don't care...just don't drive in my area when you do. me thunks the states that are allowing that stuff in, will be collecting bookoo taxes on it and that's all they care about.

You have stated some real important facts there keep impaired people out of cars and the work place.
The most liberal town in the county wants something over $50,000 in fees and permits to set up a recreational weed store. The get rich quick looking to be legal weed dealers are not to happy. I guess they will have to use some product to calm themselves .
I have no problem piling all the dope the government collects out in the desert and any fool that want to waste there brain go for it. Just fence them in and you have to be sober or what ever you would call it to get out. If there was no dope to buy the low lifes would not need to steal.

I heard that by accepting that first drivers license the fine print reads that you agree to obey all of the rules regarding the laws of the road but if you've never has a drivers license there nothing they can do if you run that stop sign because it infringes on your right to move freely about the country.

Well I never smoked any of that whacky weed either, was in a car just one time with some smoked up defracted lost souls that just had to try their wings to fly high... Yea, was in a beautiful 64 yellow Impala SS and they were takin it through ditches and across fields and When they stopped, I said 'thanks for the ride...' and started walkin. That car didn't survive long with fools at the wheel... and it convinced me to never smoke that crap... or do any drugs either.
Thad, I would agree with that... and in ALL 50 states... But Caliporkit also needs to change their voter laws too, to 1 legal citizen per vote...

I was recently asked by a waitress if I voted early? I said no. She told me she had just voted for the first time ever. I asked why she finally decided to vote? She said she was voting for marijuana. The only reason the  s on the ballot is to drag some hipsters out to vote. They might as well vote for Burned one Sanders or Hellary while they’re there. I’m very scared of drunk, stoned or cell phone drivers like the two stoned girls that didn’t recognize the big yellow object with red flashing lights and the stop sign sticking out when they ran over those innocent children.

That ain't the way ya do it here. First ya got to drive a Cad or a big stinkin Lincoln. Park it in the handi capped spot. Stay in the car and take a couple more drags on that cig they are smoking. Then get out, slam the door, grind out the cig on the pavement, and strut into Walley's.

On the medicinal MJ,,I agree there should be some strong conditions along with the use of it and according to all of the news I hear there are a great many Law Abiding folks that are getting relief for their life long pains and Physical limitations. I have read where the majority of the medical mj users are home bound and do not pose a danger to us that do use the roads,,,AND like always,,it's those idiots that just don't know any better or don't CARE that have fu** it up for the rest of those that really need it to gain "some Quality of Life". If it wasn't for this ,,my wife with all her health issues, would NOT be able to sleep AT ALL,,and that means ole Joe would not be sleepin either,,, She has been on a Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen diet since losing her foot and that stuff don't seem to help her any more,,so,,this medicinal mj is sure helpful.
