Yes, You run some flat stock bars down to lift rams to increase lifting capacity, I can post a picture [AC lit] later if it would help.

Thanks Chris! It's kinda hard to tell, but is the barstock hinged, with a long piece going from the crane to the lift arm, & a short piece going from the lift arm to the piston?

I have been wanted to build something like this for my wd for lifting things.  I would like to see pictures of one of these on a tractor if anyone has any.
