Has anyone ever seen a lawn vac setup for a Woods L306 mower?
I know the L means left hand discharge, but with the rear of the deck being open I wonder how they work, if they even make one. Thanks in advance. |

Never heard of one but that doesn't mean they never made one.

When I bought the tractor, both plates were off. It discharged out both sides, and the back. Right away I put both side plates on, so it only goes out the back. I never tried just the right block off plate to see if it shoots it out the left, or if it comes out the back as well.

there were several universal types made for mowers, could be adapted to about any mower. most had an engine on it to power it. old boss had one on his Hesston lawn mower, it worked real well. it blew the clippings into a pull along dump trailer. another old boss had one on an old Bolens.

That L means it has left hand blades. its supposed to have block off plates on both sides. it discharges out the rear. there are half round diverters on the bottom of the deck to spread the clippings over the entire width. you best bet is a pull behind cyclone rake.
