Have a WD45 diesel. Starter was semi-rebuilt, but still will not engage. Thinking that the bendix is bad. Anyone know of a source to get parts for these starters? It is a Delco Remy 1108998. Thanks.

Most any good starter rebuild shop should be able to get all the parts needed to rebuild your starter.

Try Steve in NJ, he does top notch rebuilds and posts on here, also one of the vendors that support this Forum: www.bb-customcircuits.com. If he rebuilds it, it will be right. He may also be able to furnish just the parts you need.
