Is anyone, other than myself, going to the Renfro Valley show. It runs September 30 through October 3. I am taking both the 1937 Allis-Chalmers WC and the 1948 Oliver 70 to it. This will be the first time that anyone, other than the family, has seen them. This is one of the best shows I've attended. Look forward to seeing who ever can attend. Jeremy

i always see it in the show guide and wondered how it was.  Figured I could catch some music shows too.

My Dad's family was from a little South at the Corbin exit.  They had small homestead farms in what is now the Boone National Forest.   I guess they never had a tractor or truck into the 40s because the roads were so terrible..

Everyone if you are looking for it on google maps it should work by typing in Renfro Valley Ky or if that don't work you can try Mt. Vernon Ky.

Way, way off the wall memory, at one time some years back was there a Sat night radio program known as "The Renfro Valley Barn Dance"?
I haven't done a show for years, would like to do a few again, but southern Pa is a touch more drag than I want.
