Very cool picture! You have already more then doubled it's value getting it home. The truck (Lory) is pretty impressive too. I like the stadium lights on the top of the cab! Keep us posted with more pictures and info as you get the machine operational.

hello dave I picked it up in northern Ireland in omagh county tyrone and took it back to county meath in southern Ireland where I live the reason why I had to get a crane to lift it was I couldent get a low loader in it was at the back of a house with a curvy pebbled driveway in and the crane just about got in the allis was parked tight up against a ditch/hedgerow for over 25 /30 years and for some reason or other an elder tree decided to grow up between the engine and the track on the right hand side shooting a bow towards the turbo and causing some damage to the exhaust side of the turbo mountings. the owner told me the reason why he parked it up was the chains were worn and he was coming towards retirement the machine worked perfect mechanically before hand he also gave me a new set of berco sprockets with it but had no chains for it.

The seals on the shift collector heads at the ends of the clutch shafts in the transmission are known as their weak link. They dry or rot and adhere to the shaft where they tear up under use. The upper is most likely to suffer as they stay above fluid level.
