I just read an artical how Sweden is going to test E-cars using a road similar to the electric slot cars we had as kids. Cheaper than overhead like trams,trolleys and trains...
Can we assume Global Warming has turned Sweden hot year round and will never get snow or ice again ?? While I'm here ANY word on the volcano ?? It hasn't made 1st news spot on CNN ... |

I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Ps 27 |

The volcano is still flowing over the neighborhood, something like 25 houses and over a dozen outbuildings have been overrun. Concern now is that as the lava flows out the level in the volcano will get below the water level which will cause the water to become steam (1700 times the volume of water) and blow large debris up and out, 10 to 12 ton rocks, thrown a couple miles, smaller stuff thrown 7 or 8 miles, ash blown 20 miles. A friend of mine lived on the Big Island years ago, said people put their propane tanks on the side of the house most likely to be hit by lave. Insurance doesn't cover "acts of God" like volcanoes, but does cover fires caused by a propane tank leak...

I had the "slotless" slot cars, where you could pass and everything. 2 lanes of 3 wires each on the track. Pretty neat.
