Looked at one today. Nice tractor. Question is do the series II have the newer hydraulics like the series IV D17?
It has the factory 3 point.

If you really plan on using the 3pt for any HD use, opt for the D17IV. Any 3pt on an Allis tractor smaller than the D17IV is very poorly designed and the mounting bolts are prone to working loose and ruining the castings at the mounting holes. For the smaller tractors a Snap-Coupler and factory 3pt adapter is a much more durable option if a 3pt is absolutely necessary.

We had a D-15 series 2 with factory 3ph and never had a problem with it, ran it for 17 years before dad sold the farm. Baled a bunch of hay with that tractor.

If you must have the "live" hydraulics like a D-17 IV, a similar system can be built to go on that tractor with a front pump or a pump custom made to fit underneath the hood. It can be done. Only takes $$$$$.

Even with a front drive pump from a 400 loader, a protection guard can be built around it. It will only protrude 6 inches in front of the grille.

Have one sitting in the driveway that happened to. Gonna swap in a new trans this summer.

I don't know how bad your lift arm housing hitch mount holes are, or the transmission hitch housing holes. I'm pretty sure there'd be a way to fabricate a brace to weld or attach the 3-point hitch pull frame forward to two of the snap coupler spring mount holes, giving you a total of six 3/4" bolts for the 3 point to pull from. This would see to it that nothing like that could/would ever happen again. Gr8 bolts torqued very TIGHT and Loctite on the bolt threads would be my preferred assembly method....
