Does anyone own the new AC line of garden tractors being made again by Briggs/Simplicity? They look really nice! Are you happy with it?

I've looked at them on the innerweb. Supposedly there is a dealer near me, but when I go to the dealer site, they don't list them. I'd like to go have a look at one in person.

A friend bought a new one and said it was a total piece of junk. He kept it one summer and sold it for quite a loss, because of it's low quality

I believe the AC130 was a Snapper/Murray design, similar to something like a Simplicity Regent...an entry level mower.  They are not garden tractors, and was a competitor to the box store mowers for a few years.

A few years ago there were some hybrids between the Prestige and Conquest that were built by Simplicity for Sears as the "PGT" series. They were a big flop as they were too expensive for the Sears market. Soon afterward several dealers were offering what looked like leftovers of these models with AC branding. They were all black with grey wheels and grilles.
