 Yes, there is a dipstick which is (or should be) attached to the breather cap. Bought one a few years ago for mine when I still had it. Available, but not cheap!  |

    Dr. Have never seen a dipstick on a 400 Series. Just a breather cap. Coat hanger works for me, fill to just above the return line port. Gary  |

Loader oil is in the loader frame tower.  Full is when the dipstick says it's full. If you drain out 3 gallons, it probably takes about 3 gallons.

  I acquired an AC5050 with a 400 loader. The loader works slow, and I'm sure is full of water....can anyone tell me how much fluid it takes? I plan on changing all the filters and fluids....I ordered the manuals but they won't be here for a bit. Thanks much Travis  |
